试析意识形态对情景喜剧幽默翻译的操纵——以《生活大爆炸》为例

Analysis of the ideological manipulation on translation of humor in sitcoms——Taking The Big Bang Theory as an example

从意识形态角度出发,以美国幽默情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》为例,考察幽默情景喜剧中文字游戏类、禁忌语和中国元素的翻译策略。研究发现,意识形态的确如同一只看不见的手,对不同幽默类型的翻译都有一定程度的介入和操纵;同时在幽默翻译的过程中,译者受到意识形态的操控,使用了不同的策略,使幽默翻译最大程度地接近译语观众的生活认知和情感体验。

Taking The Big Bang Theory as an example,this paper analyzes different types of translation strategies,consisting of word plays,taboos and Chinese elements,in the translation of humor in sitcoms from the perspective of ideology. It holds that ideology is just like an invisible hand,which intervenes and manipulates those types of translation of humor. In the process of translation of humor,manipulated by ideology,translators will adopt different strategies to maximally cater for the needs of target audience for life cognition and emotional experience.
