Environmental monitoring in the early stage of EIA is the first-hand technical data of project environmental impact assessment. Environmental monitoring during completion and acceptance phase is the verification of environmental protection measures for construction projects,and is the inspection of the operation effect of environmental protection equipment. Environmental monitoring after normal operation of the project is a powerful means of environmental supervision and management. This paper expounds the importance of environmental monitoring in environmental impact assessment of construction projects,and puts forward some suggestions accordingly.
