In order to find the influence of the typical plains Yellow River diversion reservoir on the surrounding soil's secondary salinization in Binzhou, with SanJiaoWa and Siyuan Lake reservoirs as example, the eight kinds of soil ions concentration distribution characteristics such as soil chlorine ion, sodium ion etc.,sampled from the different soil layers(0~20 cm,20~40 cm,40~60 cm,60~80 cm)are determined. The results show that the soil salt chemical type is Cl-Na,and the total ions content of the bottom soil is higher than the upper soil, which suggests that there is no obvious ions migration phenomenon occurrence from bottom soil to the surface soil because of the reservoirs' filling. The soil ions migration with the groundwater flow of sodium, magnesium, potassium, chloride, sulfate ions may be the primary reason of mild soil secondary salinization in the scope of 50 maround the reservoirs. On account of Siyuan Lake reservoir soil's good permeability, there is a greater influence on the surrounding soil's salinization concentration than SanJiaoWa reservoir surrounding soil.In brief, the construction of the Yellow River diversion reservoirs may put a slight effect on the surrounding soil's secondary salinization, but its eco-risk is controllable.
