This paper introduces the design idea of intelligent video surveillance platform during the construction of smart city in Wuxi,gives the design description of the overall architecture of the city’s video surveillance network,defines the application and service functions of the platform,analyzes and introduces several core technologies,such as big data processing,data analysis and mining,video signal intelligent processing,platform visualization application and so on,and puts forward the conception of further deepening design of the platform.
