When the emergency fire pumps are installed, the fire protection of the common bulkhead of the cabin where the fire pumps and the emergency fire pumps are located must meet the fire protection standards of the control room. Subdivision layout and fire protection requirements of fire pumps on two real ships are introduced. Multi-professional coordination is required in practice to ensure that the subdivision layout and fire protection requirements on fire pumps and emergency fire pumps comply with the requirements of the SOLAS.
