The paper introduces the development and design of comprehensive data management system of steel area in company of medium and thick plates in Tangshan Iron and Steel Group.Based on the process and operation flow characteristics in each procedure of steel plant,the analysis and storage are carried out for the generated flow of all the data.It improves the stability and management efficiency of the automatic production in the whole steel area.
