Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the new one-piece arm support pectoral girdle on reducing the complications of postoperative breast cancer patients. Methods Dividing 120 cases of postoperative breast cancer patients equally into experimental group and control group, patients in the experimental group were immobilized on the affected side with a new one-piece arm supporting pectoral girdle. The patients in the control group were fixed on the affected side using traditional fixation methods. The occurrence of complications among the patients in the two groups were observed. Results The extubation time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group(P 〈 0. 05),and the complications such as bleeding and subcutaneous fluid were significantly lower than those of the control group(P 〈 0. 05). Conclusion For patients with breast cancer, postoperative use of a new one-piece arm supporting pectoral girdle can significantly promote postoperative recovery and reduce the incidence of related complications. It is worthy of extensive clinical application.
