从形名学到符号学:一个学术史的梳理与反思

From Xingming Xue to Semiotics:A Screening and Reflection of the Academic History

以墨家、名家的名辩学为代表的古形名学中蕴藏着丰富的符号学思想内容。从学术史的角度来看,现代符号学兴起并大规模引入中国学界是1980年代的事情,此前对古形名思想的探索集中在哲学、逻辑学领域,此后学界才开始从符号学角度检视古形名学,古形名学符号思想研究在20世纪最后十年得到了拓展。新世纪的第一个十年为古形名符号思想研究的深化期,而第二个正在发展的十年则可视作锋面拓展期,无论是研究方法还是研究范围都得到了拓展。而从对古形名学符号思想研究到对整个中国符号学遗产的梳理和阐发,对促进中外学术思想的交流对话、弘扬中华优秀传统文化等都具有重要意义,也是当代中国学者责无旁贷的学术使命。

There is abundant semiotic thoughts in the old Xingming Xue represented by the Mohist School and the Ming-logics of the School of Ming. From the point of the academic history, the modern Semiotics was introduced on a large-scale into Chinese academic field in 1980, before which year the probing to the Xingming Xue was within the subjects of philosophy and logics. It was not until 1980 that the academic circle began to study Xingming Xue from the perspective of Semiotics. Thereafter the study of the old Xingming Xue had been expanded in the later period of 20 century. The first 10 years of the new century is the period of the deepening study of the old Xing ming Xue, and the second 10 years is the expanding period, whether it is in methodology or the research area. It is of great significance to study the thoughts in the old Xingming Xue and review and interpret the whole Chinese semiotic heritage as well, which will promote the Sino-foreign academic exchange and dialogue and spread the excellent traditional culture of China, which is also the responsibility and mission of the Chinese scholars.
