The reform and opening up gave birth to the creation of the bioscience in Shanghai Jiaotong University. The of explo- ration and practice for 40 yeans have witnessed a unique way to develop the subject of Bioscience, in a growing out of nothing and struggling to perfection. Nowadays, Shanghai Jiaotong University has become a fertile for the development of life sciences. In the future, we will continue to deepen the reform and opening up, and persist in innovation. The subject of Bioseience will have a promising future in the process of ＂Double-First Class＂ construction in Shanghai Jiaotong University.
