Development and Application of Multifunctional Lightweight Lightning-Proof Optical Cables for Access Network

随着宽带业务的日益增多,为满足呈几何级数增长的通信容量,运营商对接入网段光缆提出了更高的要求,特别是在光缆的成本和安装便捷性方面。为此,开发了接入网用多功能轻型防雷光缆。该光缆采用全介质设计,且外径小、重量轻,可满足管道、架空及沿墙飞跨等多种敷设场景,应用于接入网的馈线段、配线段和引入段。同时,为了方便光缆安装维护,开发了该光缆的专用配套金具。实际应用表明,该新型光缆对运营商来说是一种很好的选择,不仅可提高接入网安全系数,同时可降低光缆的采购和布线成本。

With the broadband services increasing rapidly,higher requirements on optical cables for access network are put forward by operators to satisfy the geometric growth of communication capacity,especially on the cost and installation convenience of optical cables.Therefore,a series of multifunctional lightweight lightning-proof optical cables for access network are developed.The optical cables adopt all-dielectric design,and have the characteristics of small diameter and light weight,so they can meet various scenes,such as duct,overhead,flying span along the wall,as feeder cable,distribution cable or drop cable in access network.At the same time,in order to facilitate installation and maintenance,a series of dedicated supporting fittings are also developed.Practical applications show that the new cables are a good option for operators.They can not only help to improve the safety coefficient of access network,but also reduce the procurement and wiring costs of optical cable.
