An ancient town with a history of over 1,000 years is located in Yun- nan＇s beautiful capital city Kun- ming, also known as the ＂City of Eternal Spring.＂ It is not only one of the birthplaces of the Ancient Dian culture, but also a Famous ancient terry in central Yunnan and a Bud- dhist pilgrimage. There are many landscapes in Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties - includ- ing five mountains, six monasteries, seven pavilions and eight temples in the ancient town whose area is less than 1.5 square kilometers. This is Guandu Ancient Town, which was hailed as the ＂small Yunnan＂ in the history.
