武威磨嘴子汉墓出土绢缘印花草编盒的修复研究

Restoration and Research on a Straw Plaited Box with Sericite Printing Preserved in the Gansu Provincial Museum

甘肃省博物馆藏武威磨嘴子汉墓出土的绢缘印花草编盒,因存在残缺、褪色、糟朽、微生物损害等严重病害,急需进行保护修复。本工作在参照修复方案中相关专业仪器检测分析的基础上,查阅文献,寻找线索,研究文物价值,推断出盒盖顶部丝织品形制,继而应用绉丝纱加固技术,对草编盒实施了保护修复,并对关键环节的技术要点作了总结归纳。修复后的草编盒形制无异,光泽协调,整体牢固度提高,观展效果增强,达到了理想的保护修复效果,对今后同类文物的保护修复具有借鉴意义。

A straw plaited box with sericite printing was unearthed from a Han dynasty tomb at Mozuizi m Wuwei and is now being preserved and restored in the Provincial Museum of Gansu after sustaining serious color fading and extensive rotting and microbial damage. Instrumental detection and analysis as well as consultation with related historical records helped infer the original form of the silk fabrics on the top of the box, following which the box was enforced with crepe silk and restored as much as possible. The repaired straw box conforms to the original in dimension and appearance and is firm in structure with a much improved exterior; the museum restoration team is hopeful that the achievement of such ideal effects of repair may be of aid to the future conservation of similar cultural relics.
