摘要
将原子层沉积技术(ALD)与改进的化学气相沉积工艺(MCVD)相结合,制备Bi/Er共掺石英玻璃光纤,测试并分析光谱性能。实验结果表明:Bi/Er共掺石英玻璃光纤存在铋离子和铒离子的典型吸收峰。当用980nm泵浦光激发时,Bi/Er共掺石英玻璃光纤在1400~1700nm波段获得宽的发光谱;非饱和吸收与小信号吸收的比值达到64%,泵浦效率较高,且荧光寿命达到11.2ms。
A Bi/Er co-doped silica fiber is fabricated by atomic layer deposition(ALD) technique and modified chemical vapor deposition(MCVD) technique. Luminescence spectra is tested and analyzed. Experimental results show that there are significant absorption peaks owing to the introduction of bismuth ions and erbium ions. There get broadband spectra at 1400~1700 nm range with 980 nm excitation,which may the role of bismuth ions. The ratio of unsaturable absorption and pump absorption is about 64%, which indicates the pump efficiency is quite good. What is more, the lifetime is about 11.2 ms.
