Objective To explore the prevention and control effect of convex prism combined with visual physiological eye exercise training on adolescent myopia. Methods A total of 86 patients with adolescent myopia were divided into control group and observation group according to the odd or even number of admission numbers by proportion(1:1), 43 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with convex prisms. Patients in the observation group were treated with visual physiological eye exercise training for prevention and control on the basis of control group. The prevention and control of myopia between the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in the refractive power and axial length between the two groups before intervention(P0.05). The refractive power and axial length of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, the refractive power and axial length of the observation group were(-2.07±0.45) D and(24.02±0.76) mm, which were significantly lower than(-2.68±0.62) D and(24.31±0.43) mm of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion The prevention and control effect of convex prism combined with visual physiological eye exercise training on adolescent myopia is more ideal, and can relieve the bad problems of the long term use of convex prism. It is worth popularizing.
