On the Literary Writing of Ting Jun in the Early Ming Dynasty

廷俊是元末明初重要的诗僧之一,尽管其作品《洎川文集》现已不存,仍能从辑录出来的篇章中窥察其文学创作的大体风貌。廷俊作为元代著名诗僧大?的弟子,作品风格与其师差别很大。廷俊诗歌的风格平实平静,充满了对历史和世事的感叹,具有更真切的禅意和禅境。

Ting Jun was one of the well-known monk poets in the Early Ming Dynasty,living during the Yuan-Ming transition. Although his book Ji Chuan Collection no longer exists,we still have a general overview of his literary writing,derived and collected from other literature and documents. Ting Jun was a disciple of Da Xin,a well-known monk poet during the Yuan Dynasty,yet there is a great difference between their writing styles. The emotion in Ting Jun＇s works is said to be quite prominent,even though the style of his poetry is quite plain. The style of Ting Jun＇s poems is plain and calm,full of sighs about history and world events,and have more real Zen meaning and Zen mood.
