论侯外庐中国思想史研究的理论意义

On the Theoretical Significance of HOUWailu's Study on Chinese Ideological History

侯外庐对于马克思主义史学的两点意义。首先,侯外庐的史学实践完成了马克思主义史学观和历史观的转换,即确立服从政治需要、学以致用的史学观,和以阶级斗争为核心的历史观。侯外庐创造的历史体系尤其是思想通史体系,对思想史和学术史的影响都很深远。其次,侯外庐对于马克思主义史学理论的研习及其形成的诸多论断至今深有启发,仍不过时。特别是侯外庐的社会史与思想史并行研究的治史方法和"实事求是"、"独立自得"的治学精神成为后学者的典范。这些都奠定了侯外庐在中国马克思主义史学史上的特殊地位。

HOU Wailu has made two great contributions to Marxist historical science. First,in his practice of historical science,HOU Wailu has accomplished the transformation of Marxist historiography and historical conception,that is,he established the politics-oriented and application-oriented historiography and the historical conception with class struggle at the core. Second,many of HOU Wailu＇s inferences drawn from Marxist theory of historical science are still of practical values till now. Historical scholars today still follow his method of integrating the study of social history with the study of ideological history. His advocacy to＂seek truth from facts＂and＂think independently＂is still guiding the following scholars. These contributions established HOU Wailu＇s important role in Chinese Marxist historical science.
