Appropriate family discipline strategy helps children＇s personality and social development in a healthy way. This paper first interprets parental discipline and reconstructs the original meaning of the discipline, and then discusses the basic principles of parental discipline by regarding children as the dominant role in an equal family system, an finally it introduces three methods of parental discipline： behavior conection, social learning and democratic child training.
