In connection with the structure feature of fuel injection system in CMI engine, the system construction and operating principle of principle components are researched in this paper, such as engine driven fuel pump, fuel metering control unit, fuel manifold valve and fuel injector nozzle. The failure mechanism and failure symptom are expounded deeply. And it provides failure diagnosis and treating measures for malfunction on this fuel injection system, thus providing strong basis for routine maintenance and system troubleshooting for this system.
