区域人口特征与新兴产业市场需求规模关系研究——基于湖南省地级市实证分析

Research on Relationship Between Regional Population Characteristics and Market Demand Scales of Emerging Industries——an Empirical Analysis Based on Prefecture-level Cities in Hunan

新兴产业普遍具有产业关联度高、资源消耗少、知识技术密集、综合效益好等特点,在一定程度上可以发展成支柱产业。随着中国产业结构调整与中长期发展战略的提出,发展新兴产业已迅速成为当代中国经济发展的重要方向。以区域人口特征为基础,对新兴产业市场需求规模进行了详细论证,应用湖南省地级市的实际数据从微观层面验证了区域人口特征与新兴产业市场需求规模的内在作用机制。实证发现人口特征因素中的人口规模、城市化水平、职业阶层、老年人口抚养比与受教育水平等因素对新兴产业市场需求规模均产生正效应。

Emerging industries generally have such characteristics as high industrial correlation,low consumption of resources,intensive knowledge and technology, and good comprehensive benefits, and can develop into pillar industries to a certain extent.With China’s industrial restructuring and the proposal of medium and long-term development strategy,the development of emerging industries has rapidly become an important orientation of contemporary China’s economic development. Based on the regional population characteristics, this paper demonstrates the market demand scales of emerging industries in detail, and verifies the internal mechanism of regional population characteristics and market demand scales of emerging industries from the micro-level by applying the actual data of prefecture-level cities in Hunan Province. It is found via empirical analysis that the factors such as population scale,urbanization level,occupational class,dependency ratio of the elderly and education level have positive effects on the market demand scales of emerging industries.
