Since the enlightenment revolution, human beings have gradually dispelled myths, confirming their existence. And the elimination of myths makes it possible for the developed industrial society to create new myths. In the analysis of the advanced industrial society in One Dimensional Man, the neglected unidirectional language is an important dimension to examine the total power of technology. The compulsory development of one -dimensional society makes the language inevitably washed by technical rationality and then translated into illu-sory language. The translation from the former concept of technology to the concept of technology, and the harm-less denial of the present situation by the operational and closed language have become the general basis for peo-ple to seek consolation and defense. The ＂ language prosperity＂ created by this has served as an important medi-um for our dialogue with developed industrial societies and has provided us with a new perspective on the under-standing of the developed industrial society described by Marcuse.
