《半生缘》英译本中译者的显形 被引量:2

Translator's Visibility in the English Version of Ban Sheng Yuan

摘要 自《半生缘》英译本问世以来,学界关于该译本的相关研究仍寥寥可数。本文结合韦努蒂的译者显形理论,从文化负载信息的翻译、语相特征和情节处理等三个方面探索《半生缘》英译本中译者的显形情况,尝试为译者显形研究提供新角度。研究发现,金凯筠在翻译文化负载信息时采取异化翻译策略;大胆地使用斜体在译作中呈现自己的理解;不改动与目的语文化相偏离的情节。由此可见,金凯筠的译者身份在该译本中是显形的,从而保留了《半生缘》的"中国味"。 There are few studies found of the English version of Ban Sheng Yuan . The thesis explores translator’s visibility in the English version of Ban Sheng Yuan from the perspectives of the translation of culture-loaded expressions, graphological features and plot construction, trying to provide new standpoints for studies of translator’s visibility. It is found that the translator Karen Kingsbury foreignized the culture-loaded expressions; used italics to show her own understanding; and kept the plot unfamiliar to target readers. In this way, the translator preserves the Chinese features in the translation and becomes visible to target readers.
