There are many words expressing the act of eating that have concrete manners and attitudinal features. A synchronic study is canied out. The verbs expressing the act of eating in Northeast dialect are analyzed fiom the angle of meaning with detailed classification and orientation. The formal marks when they express various subjective meanings are studied.
