Clinical Discussion on Syndrome of Intermingled Deficiency and Excess

虚实是中医学的一个重要的定义,既能概括疾病全程邪正盛衰变化,又是体现疾病本质的基本范畴,在临床中有广泛而深刻的涵义。虚实夹杂及其转化贯穿在疾病的发生、发展、预后的整个过程当中。笔者以虚实夹杂为基础,参考经典,结合临床,从疾病病因病机、临证表现、遣方用药及疾病预后等诸多方面总结并阐明了其在临床中的重要意义。

Syndrome of intermingled deficiency and excess is an important definition of traditional Chinese medicine. It can generalize the changes of the vital-qi and pathogenic factors in whole course of diseases, and it ＇s also the basic category that embodies the essence of the disease. It has a broad and profound meaning in the clinic. Mixture and transformation of deficiency and excess are all involved in the whole process of disease occurrence, development and prognosis. On the basis of deficiency-excess mixing,referring to the classics, combined with the clinical, the author summarized and clarified the important significance of the disease in many aspects, such as the pathogenesis, the manifestation, the medication and the prognosis of the disease.
