An Appreciation of Convergence of the Twain from the Perspective of Ecocriticism

Ecocriticism is a theory discussing the relationship between literary and natural environment. The paper uses ecocriticismto analyze Thomas Hardy's poem Convergence of the Twain from the aspect of the title, language style and images, aiming at fixing thetie among literary, nature and culture, improving people's consciousness of protecting environment and warning people to keep a har-monious relationship with nature.
