The paper, breaking out the view of inertia, analyzes the most mysterious Simon and the most intelligent Piggy from the Archetype Character perspective to probe into a deeper meaning. This essay will apply Frye's archetype to make a breakthrough in finding out the far-reaching meanings of the Christ archetypal Simon and wise old man archetypal Piggy.
