摘要
潮汕女子教育在近代社会转型的过程中产生和发展,它与潮汕地区乃至整个中国的民族主义运动、女子学制改革以及妇女解放运动相始终。近代中国"大社会"决定和规范着潮汕女子教育的基本走向和性质,而潮汕区域"小社会"则使得女子教育呈现出"女子兴学"的独特风貌。
Women's school education in modern Chaoshan was initiated and developed in social transformation, and it was consistent with the district's and even China's nationalist movement, women's education system reform and the women's liberation movement. The broad context of modern China decided the basic direction and nature of women's education, while local context of Chaoshan gave women's education of the district its distinctive features.
