Development and Application of Modern Weather Satellites

人类观测天气的一个重要部分是气象卫星。气象卫星的发明和应用,开启了探索地球大气空间的时代。全球气象卫星的两种主要类型是极地气象卫星和地球静止气象卫星。针对中国气象卫星的未来发展和实际应用,作了简要的探讨,为观测天气研究提供参考。

An important part of human weather observation is weather satellites.The invention and application of weather satellites opened up the era of exploring earth’s atmospheric space.The two main types of global meteorological satellites are polar meteorological satellites and geostationary meteorological satellites.In view of the future development and practical application of China’s meteorological satellites,this paper makes a brief discussion and provides a reference for weather observation research.
