陈少白名字号考辨

A Study of the Names of Chen Shaobai

关于陈少白的名字号,现存文献著录各有异同。陈少白走上革命道路之前,名闻韶,字夔石。在香港投身革命后,改名白,改字少白,以少白行于世。在旅日期间,他曾使用陈棫、陈璞、陈璧等化名。晚年,曾自署"无定着"。陈少白赴越南面见孙中山时,化名"服部二郎",而"敦煌韬晦子"并不能确定是陈少白早年的号。

There are some differences about the names of Chen Shaobai in the extant literature. Before embarking on the revolutionary road,his name was Chen Wenshao,with the courtesy title Kuishi. After joining in the revolution in Hong Kong he changed his name to Chen Bai,with the courtesy title of Shaobai. During his stay in Japan,he also used such names as Chen Yu,Chen Pu,Chen Bi,etc. In his old age,he called himself Wu Ding Zhuo( meaning drifting). When he went to Vietnam to meet with Dr. Sun Yatsen,he used the pseudonym of Fu Bu Er Lang. People are not sure yet whether Dunhuang Hui Meizi was his pseudonym.
