The intelligent motor protector based on MSP430F149 microcomputer is discussed. The protector makes full use of various functions of MSP430F149 single chip microcomputer and can display the fault and protect the motor in real time. Through the experiments and tests fbr the designed protoUpe, all the protective fhnetions of the protoype have achieved the expected resuhs. The protoype can identify- and process all kinds of failures in time and accurately.
