美国的新现实主义小说出现在20世纪70年代,用意识流、碎片化和魔幻化等现代派的叙事手段描写社会现实,其中对20世纪七八十年代美国社会问题揭示最全面也最深刻的是唐·德里罗(Don DeL illo)的《白噪音》。利用胡塞尔的本质还原法和科学实证论方法,从社会学的视角,深入剖析《白噪音》中描述的社会现象,如消费主义、信仰危机和生态焦虑等,探究其背后的真实原因,对当下中国具有重要的借鉴意义。

American neo-realism novel appeared in 1970s, which applies modern narrative means of conscious- ness stream, fragmentation and magic realism to describe the social reality. In 1980s, the one who comprehensively and profoundly revealed the social problems in the United States was Don DeLillo. This study applies Husserl＇ s essential reduction method （from phenomenon to essence）and scientific empirical method to analyze the social phenomena described in White Noise from the perspective of sociology, such as consumerism, belief crisis and ecological anxiety, to explore the real reasons behind it and to display the warning significance for China
