在高校创立青少年科学营,可以充分发挥高校在提高公民科学素质,尤其是青少年科学素质方面的重要作用。其主要体现在以下方面:激励青少年立志学习理工科专业;推动科研单位承担科学普及社会责任;助力中学教师科学素养提升问题的解决。针对目前青少年高校科学营的发展状况,在未来发展中需要有明确的定位,考虑高中学生的认知水平和特点,适当兼顾参营人员的差异性,这样青少年科技教育才能在高校的支持下,有序、健康、全面发展。

The establishment of youth science camp in colleges and universities could give full play to the impor- tant role of institutions of higher learning in improving the scientific quality of citizens, especially the scientific quality of young people. It is mainly reflected in the following aspects ： to motivating young people to study science and Engineering major; promoting scientific research institutions to undertake the social responsibility of science popularization; helping to solve the problem of improving high school teachers＇ scientific literacy. In view of the current development of youth science camps in colleges and universities which need has its own orientation in the future development, and considering the knowledge level and characteristics of high school students whom should take into account the differences between the staff of the camp, thus to promote the orderly, healthy and comprehensive development of popular science activities for youth with the support of universities and colleges.
