跨文化视角下中国民俗文化词语汉英翻译研究

A Study of Chinese-English Translation of Chinese Folk Culture Words from the Perspective of Intercultural Communication

语言是文化的主要表达方式之一,不同语言代表着不同的思维方式,也是每个民族独有生活习惯的主要表达形式。文化是语言生长与演变的主要土壤,所以跨文化视角的语言交流,存在着不同文化语境下词汇理解偏差的问题。通过对跨文化视角下中国民俗文化词语汉英翻译问题的研究,分析不同文化语境下语言与翻译之间的关系,提出跨文化中国民俗文化的汉英翻译策略。

Language is one of the main expressions of culture. Different languages represent different ways of thinking, and it is also the main expression of the unique living habits of each nation. Culture is the major soil for language growth and evolution. Therefore, the language communication between cross-cultural perspectives has the problem of vocabulary comprehension in different cultural contexts. Through the study of Chinese-English translation of Chinese folk culture words from the perspective of cross-cultural perspective, this paper analyzes the relationship between language and translation in different cultural contexts, and proposes the Chinese-English folk culture translation strategies.
