摘要
《江城》是美国著名作家彼得·海斯勒"纪实中国三部曲"中的第一部,与其《甲骨文》、《寻路中国》讲述的都是二十世纪九十年代以来某些小地方的"中国故事",但由于作者独特的视角叠加,使得这些小地方的中国故事别开生面,异彩纷呈。这从中国改革开放以来文学史的角度而言,算是最好的补白,因而一经出版发行,便赢得广泛好评。文章主要以《江城》为重点,拟就作品叙事的独特视角,以及由此形成的叠加效应做些初步探讨。其要点是:以西察中,见其短;以小说大,见其实;以身证心,见其诚。
As the first part of"Chinese Documentary Triology"written by Peter Hessler,a famous American writer,River Town,together with Oracle Bones and Country Driving,tells the"Chinese story"in certain small places since 1990 s. However,the superposition of author’s unique perspectives makes the Chinese story in these small places unqiue and colorful. From the perspective of literary history since reform and opening up,it fills the gaps. Therefore,once it was published,River Town won wide favorable reception.This paper mainly focuses on River Town,making initial discussions on the unique perspective of narration and its additive effect. The main point isto observe China from West to see its shortcomings,illustrate widely from narrow perspectiveto show the truthand demonstrate heart and body to showone’s honesty.
