从“新文学”到“现代文学”命名的更替看文学史的书写

Writing of Literary History from Naming Replacement of New-vernacular Literature by Modern Literature

"新文学"和"现代文学"在不同的时期被赋予不同的内涵。从"新文学"到"现代文学"命名的更替,并不是一个简单的延续和代替的过程,而是一个复杂、多元的生成过程。在这一过程中,诸种文学经验被不断改写,一些不合时宜的因素被扬弃,在此一时代是主流的文学现象、作家作品在另一时代又可能被边缘化甚至被遮蔽。在这样一个复杂多元的文学史书写过程中,如何选择、确立文学经典是关键问题所在。

New-vernacular literature and modern literature are endowed with different connotations in different ages. The replacement of naming is not a simple process of continuation and substitution,but a complex and multivariate generation process. In this process,many literary experiences have been rewritten and some inappropriate factors have been abandoned. The mainstream literature phenomena,writers,and works in a certain period may be marginalized or even covered in another era. How to choose and establish literary classics is the key in the process of such a complex and diverse literary history writing.
