Causes of Desiring a Second Child of Women over 40 by Assisted Reproductive Technology:A Qualitative Research

目的探索40岁以上辅助生殖技术助孕女性生育二胎的助孕原因,引导其选择合理助孕。方法通过质性研究,对我院进行助孕治疗的12例患者进行深入访谈,现场录音,并整理资料,采用Colaizzi现象学方法进行相关分析。结果高龄女性生育二胎的成因可归纳为4个主题:对空巢与子女未来的担忧、自责与背负生育负担、盲目自信与错误认知、源于内心对孩子的喜爱。结论高龄女性助孕成因受多种因素的影响,建议想助孕女性在正确评估生育力的基础上,结合家庭及自身情况,合理选择助孕方式。医护人员需提供针对性的心理护理,社会及家庭也需为女性创造轻松的再生育环境。

Objective To elucidate the causes of desiring a second child of women over 40 by assisted reproductive technology（ART） and to propose effective plan for them. Methods The qualitative research was adopted and 12 infertile women over 40 were enrolled in the in-depth interview and the data were analyzed based on Colaizzi phenomenological research method. Results The reasons for desiring a second child of women over 40 could be generalized in four themes： being anxious about the future of their child and themselves, self-accusation and bearing the burden of fertility, blind confidence and misperception, and initiative desire of children. Conclusion There are many factors influencing the causes of desiring a second child in women over 40. It is suggested that women should choose rational plan based on the ovarian reserve evaluation and the family factors. Medical staff should provide individualized psychological care, and the society and families should also create a relaxing environment for them.
