This paper gives a brief account of English translation teaching in Vocational Colleges and explains the problems existing in them. This paper discusses the application of block teaching in the teaching of English translation in higher vocational colleges, illustrates the positive role of the application of block teaching method, and sums up the problems that should be paid attention to in the application process of the teaching method, hoping that this article can provide help for the development of English translation teaching in higher vocational colleges.
