Grammar is the science of studying the change of form and sentence structure, and represents the inherent law of a certain language. It is a central factor in improving the quality of the language. The traditional college English grammar teaching still has its defects. Based on this, this paper tells the dilemma and outlet of English grammar teaching in colleges and universities, and provides reference for college English teachers to improve teaching quality.
