美国高中第三方评价指标体系的内容、特点及启示——基于尼奇“美国最佳私立高中排名”的分析

The Contents,Characteristics and Enlightenment of the Third-party Evaluation Index System about U.S. High Schools——Base on the Analysis of Niche's “Best Private High School Rankings in the U.S.”

高中教育质量是基础教育的重要组成部分,高中排名可以帮助学校改善教育质量,为公众提供有价值的择校参考。文章以美国学校研究和信息咨询机构尼奇公司发布的2018年"美国最佳私立高中排名"为例,对美国私立高中排名的数据来源、计算方法、评价指标体系及特点进行了分析。我国可以借鉴美国,以评价促进教育公平,理性看待学校排名,采用多元化评价指标,立足本土,加快构建适合我国的基础教育评价指标体系。

The quality of high school education is an important component of elementary education. High school rankings can help schools improve education quality and provide valuable reference for the public to select schools. Based on The Best Private High school Rankings in the US released by Niche in 2018 for school research and information consulting,this paper analyzes the data source of American private high school rankings,calculation method,the evaluation index system and its characteristics,and then suggests that elementary education evaluation in our country can learn from the US evaluation on the basis of the＂third party assessment＂in order to promote fair education,to have a rational look at school rankings,to adopt diversified evaluation index,and accelerate the establishment of an independent education evaluation index system suitable for China according to our situation and appropriate reference.
