摘要 音乐剧字幕翻译有助于目的语观众体会更深层的人物情感和故事寓意,乃至感受到音乐和舞蹈隐含之美;音乐剧译者肩负再现音乐剧"灵魂"的重任;目的是所有翻译行为中最重要的因素;目的论三原则中,目的原则为最高原则,连贯原则次之;忠实原则受到目的原则的制约,同时也从属于连贯原则;音乐剧译者需牢记目的论最高原则,以达到"忠实"与"自由"的平衡点。 Musical subtitle translation can help the target audience to perceive the in-depth meaning of the story,emotions of the actors,even discover the implied beauty of the music and dance.To some degree,musical translators shoulder a significant mission of reproducing the "spirit" of a musical.For Skopos theory supporters,purpose is the most important factor in any translation activities.Among the three principal rules of Skopos theory,Skopos rule is the foremost,followed by coherence rule and fidelity rule.Musical translators should always remember the dominant role of Skopos rule so as to approach the balance between "loyalty" and "freedom".
