《华国编文选》的编纂缘起与骈文理论

Compiling Origin and Parallel Prose Theory of Selected Works of Huaguo Volume

《华国编文选》由乾隆初时任内阁中书管司经局正字的高邮文化望族孙濩孙始编,二十年后其子乔年完成。此选极力彰显骈文"华国"之用,孙氏父子试图通过编纂骈文选本的方式,培养更多人才,并以润色鸿业的人才之盛,凸显国之华。在利用骈文华美词藻"润色鸿业"时,又将"气"引入骈文创作,提出"词气并胜"的理论构想。此选于骈文由尊体而辨体,既严守各体之界限,又力图汲取他体之长。该选本提出的理论命题,对清代中后期骈文理论产生重要影响。

Selected Works of Huaguo Volume was compiled by Sun Gaoyou, a prominent member of the Gaoyou Culture Commit- tee who was office of the bureau in the cabinet at the early times of Qianlong period. Twenty years later, his son, Qiannian, complet- ed the book. The book highlights the ability of parallel prose to beautify the country＇s image. Sun＇s father and son tried to cultivate more talents by compiling the anthology of parallel prose, and to highlight national magnificence through the prosperity of talents in the field.In the use of parallel Chinese prose to ＂decorate the national prosperity＂, the ＂Qi＂ was introduced into parallel prose creation, and the theory of ＂Combining Ci with Qi＂ was put forward. This book values parallel prose and distinguishes different styles. It not only draws a clear distinction between different styles, but also tries to learn the advantages from other styles. The theoretical proposi- tion put forward from the book has an important influence on parallel prose theory in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
