摘要
李叔同出家后,虽然倾注于佛学,但坚持以艺术弘法,"诸艺不废",无论是他的书法、篆刻,还是诸多佛经序跋、人物传记、碑诔、论说、联句、偈语,以及《护生画集》和《续护生画集》《清凉歌》等,都体现出一如既往的鲜明的艺术家、诗人气质。从他出家后对俗世"哀艳""绮语"的反思,到"兴到落笔""妙思泉涌"创作艺术的强调,从"兴味"含蓄、"幽秀沉着"的赞叹,再到爱国殉教、"空灵觉悟"的艺术造诣,全面展现了伴随佛法修养的日臻完善,他的文学思想与创作不断提升的嬗变历程。
After Li Shutong became a monk, although he devoted himself to Buddhism, he insisted on using art to promote Dharma. All skills are not forgotten. His handwriting, seal cutting, or many prefaces and postscripts of Buddhist sutras, biographies, monument eulogy, exposition and argumentation, parallel phrases, Chants and hymns, and The Nursing Creatures' Pictures and The Continuing Nursed Creatures' Pictures, Cool Songs all always reflect the temperament of the outstanding artist and poet. After he be- came a monk, his reflection on the earthliness with mournful but flowery style, and his emphasis on the art of creative such as writing with the flash inspiration and amazing ideas like spring, his admiration for the very subtle flavor and the artistic beauty of patriotic martyrdom all show the gradual perfection of the cultivation of Buddhism and Dharma and the evolution course of continuous promotion about his literary thought or creation.
