萧红是中国近现代著名女作家,她有着极强的悲剧意识,关注并细腻描写了父权制社会里中国北方农村底层妇女的生存困境。虽被誉为民国第一才女,但身世坎坷的萧红,一生都在漂泊和动荡不安中度过。她将自己的亲身经历熔铸在作品中,使作品体现出浓浓的悲剧意识,从她求生的艰难、生育的刑罚、病态的灵魂以及无处是家的悲凉四个方面可以揭示民国女性生存的困境。

Xiao Hong was a famous modern Chinese female writer. She had a strong sense of tragedy. She paid close attention to and describes the survival predicament of the rural women in the rural areas of the North China in the pa-triarchal society. Although known as the first talented woman in the Republic of China, Xiao Hong, whose life expe-rience was rough, spent all her life in wandering and turmoil. She cast her own personal experience in her works,which made her work reflect a deep sense of tragedy. From the difficulties of her survival, the punishment of child-birth, the morbid soul, and the desolateness of homelessness, she could reveal the the living dilemma of women in the Republic of China.
