摘要 SPOC混合式(Small Private Online Course)教学模式,将在线资源的有效利用与传统校园教学相结合,旨在改变传统高等教育现状,实现资源利用和课堂效率的最大化。大学英语教学中最有实践意义和发展潜力的ESP(English for Special Purpose)课程教学,能够更好地帮助非英语专业的学生实现用英语这门语言工具从事自身专业工作的目的。本文以SPOC混合式教学模式下中山大学南方学院国际学院开设的ESP课程《商务英语》为依托,分析该课程实践的可行性并探讨实践过程中师生角色,针对教学过程中可能出现的问题进行考证,从而探索在SPOC网络平台支撑下,适合独立院校ESP课程的最有效教学模式。 An analysis was made in the paper of the feasibility of the application of SPOC(small private online course),a blending teaching mode to integrate online learning resources and traditional campus teaching,aiming to maximize resource utility and classroom efficiency and revolutionize traditional higher education,to Business English offered by International School of Nanfang College of Sun Yat-sen University,one of the ESP courses that are believed to be of practical significance and developmental potential to help non-English majors work with English,as well as the new roles of both teachers and students in teaching practice and some possible problems during the course of teaching so as to establish a most effective teaching mode for ESP courses in independent colleges based on an SPOC network platform.
