Study on the Professional Development of "Five-ability" in Higher Vocational Education from the Perspective of ESP Teaching Reform

高等职业教育的职业属性和专业特性决定了高职英语教师应具备英语语言能力、实践运用能力、信息化教学研究能力、团队协作能力以及社会服务研究能力。在ESP教学改革的背景下,本文将对"五能型"高职英语教师的内涵和培养途径进行研究,突破自身发展障碍,着力提升教师的专业化发展水平,从而适应公共基础英语到专门用途英语的转变。

Vocational features of higher vocational education and professional characteristics determine their English teachers should have English language ability,practice ability,research ability of informationization teaching,team cooperation ability and social service ability.Under the background of ESP teaching reform,this article will study the connotation of ＂five-ability＂ English teachers and training methods to break through their barriers.And then they can improve their professional development level to adapt to the transformation of EGP to ESP.
