The Development and Creation of Gouache Painting in the Early Years of New China

建国初期(1949~1966年)的水粉画从水彩画中脱离,成为独立的画种。它不仅是宣传画和新年画的重要组成部分,而且是艺术高校课程体系的基础环节。水粉画的发展顺应时代潮流,在风格、主题和画面内容的选择上符合当时文艺政策,发挥了宣传教育的作用。

In the early years of new China（1949-1966）,gouache painting separated from watercolor painting,becoming an independent painting,which is not only an important part of picture posters and new year pictures,but also the basic part of curriculum system in art school.The development of gouache painting conforms to the trend of the times,and the creation of style,theme,content is in accordance with art policy at that time and gives play to its role.
