翻译中的译者修辞本质

摘要 当代修辞学把修辞定义为运用语言象征手段,影响受众观念和行为的交际活动。翻译即属于影响译文读者并获得其认同的修辞活动。作为修辞者,译者具有自身的修辞意识和倾向,能动地实现翻译的修辞动机。作为翻译主体,译者同原语文本是修辞性解读的关系,同受众的关系表现为通过修辞运作,进行修辞重构,以同受众建立认同关系。 Based on the contemporary rhetorics,rhetoric is defined as a communicative activity which uses linguistic symbolism as a means to affect its audience's ideology and behavior.Translation is a rhetorical activity which affects its target readers and gains their acceptance.As a retour,a translator has his own awareness and inclination of rhetoric,and can actively realize the rhetorical motivation in translation.As the subject of translation,the translator rhetorically interprets source text.Moreover,the translator builds agreement with the audience by reconstructing figure of speech.
