Value orientation is a kind of cost control path orientation based on the concept of value analysis. It originates from the promotion and application of value engineering theory. Based on the demands of many problems facing the current construction engineering cost control, the article introduces the value-oriented concept into construction engineering. In the field of cost control, a detailed analysis of the value-oriented construction project cost control strategy was carried out in order to highlight the value function of the construction project, maximize the value as the starting point of decision-making, and then construct the project management target.
