摘要
诺贝尔文学奖获得者莫言创作的小说《酒国》叙事结构独特,语言幽默怪诞,蕴含丰富的中国文化特色。文章选取葛浩文的英译本,分析其采取的翻译策略,总结优缺点,从而为中国文学翻译提供有益的借鉴。
The Republic of Wine, written by the winner of the Nobel Prize in literature Mo yan, is featured as a unique style of narration, imagination and humor, filled with plenty of culture with Chinese characteristics. This paper takes English version translated by Goldblatt as a case study to analyze his translation strategies, summarizing the advantages and disadvantages so as to provide a good example to the translation of Chinese literature.
