This paper discusses the significance of the development and utilization of Tibetan ancient books in the new era of national colleges and universities, and points out that this subject needs to start from the aspects of ideological understanding, management innovation and policy adjustment. The structure and ability elements of the computer software development and the professional knowledge service of the ancient books are needed to promote the development and utilization of the composition frame, elements of capability, and the measures to enhance Library＇s expansion of its service space.
