摘要
作为世界上最大的新兴市场国家,中国所蕴藏的巨大市场潜力和就业机会不断吸引着海外移民和留学生回国发展。在国内经济高速增长向高质量发展的转型时期,海归高管在推动企业创新方面的作用吸引了管理层和学术界的共同关注。基于2012—2016年中国信息技术行业A股上市公司的样本进行实证分析,研究发现:在中国社会情境下,高管团队中拥有海外经历的高管占比对企业创新绩效具有显著的正向影响,同时较长的任期并不能帮助海归高管更好地发挥其对企业创新绩效的促进作用。
As the largest emerging market country in the world,Chinese huge market potential and employment opportunities are constantly attracting overseas immigrants and international students to return home. During the transition period of rapid economic growth to high quality development in China,the role of returnees in promoting enterprise innovation and development has attracted the attention of both management and academia. Based on the empirical analysis of the sample of A-share listed companies in Chinese information technology industry from 2012 to 2016 year,this study found that the proportion of overseas executives in top management team has a significant and positive impact on corporate innovation performance in the context of China. At the same time,the longer tenure does not help overseas executives better play their role in promoting the innovation performance of companies.
